《古代语言与文明》系列丛书，致力于推广介绍对古代文明研究的前沿成果。随着近来新发现的出土文物以及新方法的运用，现在对各古文明的发展、传播与解读都取得了超越前人的重大发展，但这些重要的研究成果，缺乏一个可以系统性介绍的平台。《古代语言与文明》系列丛书，便肩负起将最新成果介绍给学术界的重大责任。
