RCHC is pleased to welcome a new member, Giuliano Castagna, a specialist in the study of ancient Arabic language and dialects. As part of RCHC, Dr Castagna will teach courses on Arabic languages and culture at UIC and pursue his linguistic studies, focusing in particular on the early spread of Arabic dialects along the ancient maritime Silk Roads.
The Research Centre for History and Culture invites applications from world-class scholars working on different regions of the pre-modern world.
